Dolley Madison, the first lady of the United States and wife of Former President James Madison, preferred Oyster Ice Cream. She used small, sweet oysters from the Potomac River near her home to churn her favorite ice cream.

In addition, Two Old Cranks’ American Apple Pie was sold in Henry’s Homemade Ice Cream shop in Plano, Texas for a month or so to benefit the Crank-Off.

1940S HOMEMADE VANILLA: Two Old Cranks dates back to the 1940s, when Donald McGowen scooped his delicious homemade vanilla ice cream at family gatherings.
